Water tourism is a sport of vivid impressions!

There are not so many ways of spending leisure time that would be “three in one”: sports, recreation, and entertainment. And water tourism is a great option to make a summer vacation unforgettable.

Water tourism was widespread even during the Soviet era due to the numerous rivers and streams located on the territory of Russia. In our time, water tourism as an active form of recreation is again gaining popularity, including among young people.

There are many reasons for this. And to begin with, water tourism is a serious sport with many disciplines – there are rafting, kayaking and kayaking, water slalom and much more.

In addition to sports records and achievements, water sports give health. In most cases, rafting takes place in the most beautiful and inaccessible corners of nature with clean air, and water from mountain rivers can often be fearlessly drunk even without boiling.

Plus rowing is one of the most effective exercises both for strengthening almost all muscle groups and for keeping the body in good shape. The general power endurance increases, rowing has a beneficial effect on the work of the cardiovascular system and lungs.

FOR STRONG SPIRITS
In addition, water sports help to gain the so-called team spirit. During the passage of the thresholds, the coordinated actions of all crew members, the accurate execution of the captain’s commands are very important. For good reason, for example, in the Urals, business coaches instead of learning corporate speech and lectures about the company’s mission simply lead newcomers to rafting, entrusting their cares to an experienced instructor. From the rafting to this, colleagues who were hardly known among themselves are returning as a close-knit team. At water workers generally friendship and mutual assistance is highly appreciated.

Joining water tourism is a snap. In Russia there are enough clubs and sections for practicing this sport. Any water trip requires high-quality gear, careful preparation and the presence of a specific action plan that must be clearly followed. There are several basic rules that are recommended to observe when preparing for water travel.

For travel, especially beginners, you should always use kayaks, boats, rafts with the use of inflatable elements. Any group should have an experienced leader who knows his job well.

Before starting the route, this should be reported to the Ministry of Emergencies, so that in case of unforeseen circumstances everyone knows where to look for a boat to provide assistance.

Carefully read the assembly instructions for the boat. Loading in a boat should be carried out near the coast. You need to grab polyethylene and bags that protect food and clothing from water. All cargo should be tied to the boat. It is better to put heavy loads in the aft compartment.

All participants in water trips should always wear life jackets and, if necessary, safety helmets. In this case, it is necessary to take care of the equipment in advance. Do not neglect sunscreen – you can get sunburn twice as fast as when relaxing on the beach.

You should always sit down and land out of the boat in shallow water, because at great depths it can simply roll over. To sit in a boat or other swimming means, the leader first follows to check his serviceability and absence of leaks.
